By using any Ato device or associated software and services ("Ato" being a product owned and operated by Eighteen Labs, Inc., referred to herein as “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use Ato.
2. Eligibility & Authorized Use
Ato is intended for personal use only. You agree not to misuse the device, attempt to open or modify it, or use it for any unintended, harmful, or unlawful purposes.
3. Ownership & Software License
You retain ownership of any hardware you purchase. The Ato software is licensed, not sold. Your subscription grants you a non‑transferable, revocable license to use the software strictly with Ato hardware.
4. Feedback & Suggestions
We welcome any feedback you provide through conversations, email, or surveys. You grant us permission to use such suggestions to improve Ato without any obligation or compensation to you.
5. Data Usage & Privacy
Ato does not record or store your conversations. However, we collect usage metrics such as interaction duration, session timestamps, and general device activity to improve performance and user experience. All data is handled confidentially and never sold to third parties.
6. Software Updates
We may remotely update Ato’s software to enhance performance or add features. Updates will be designed not to disrupt your experience.
7. Intended Use
Ato is not a medical or emergency device and should not be relied upon for diagnosis, treatment, or urgent situations. Always follow guidance from qualified professionals.
8. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
Ato uses AI models to generate speech and responses. While we strive for accuracy and natural interaction, the system may occasionally produce incorrect or nonsensical information. You acknowledge this limitation and agree not to rely on responses for critical or sensitive decisions.
9. Warranty
Devices include a standard warranty covering manufacturing defects. This does not cover misuse, damage, or dissatisfaction unrelated to performance.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, without prior notice, if we consider that you violate these Terms. You may stop using Ato at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eighteen Labs, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Ato.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
